Utley (ankle) will receive a cortisone injection on Wednesday, CSN Philadelphia reports. Utley was placed on the disabled list Tuesday with inflammation in his right ankle. He said the ankle, which he originally injured in an offseason workout, has bothered him throughout the season. Head athletic trainer Scott Sheridan said Utley had an MRI in mid-May which showed inflammation on the bone and a ligament that was still healing. Cesar Hernandez will fill in at second for the Phillies while Utley is sidelined.
