Utley (ankle) will play in his first spring training game Friday, serving as the Phillies' designated hitter, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Utley will bat third, nestled between Cesar Hernandez and Ryan Howard in a rather unintimidating lineup. With more than three weeks to go until Opening Day, Utley should have plenty of time to pile up at-bats before the start of the season.
