Utley (ankle) will not play in the Phillies' Grapefruit League opener Tuesday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Utley sprained his ankle in January and will be eased into games a little down the road according to manager Ryne Sandberg. He is expected to be fine for the start of the regular season.
