Updating a previous report, Odorizzi will take the hill for the Rays' third regular season game, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Odorizzi and Nate Karns were expected to pitch in the second and third games of the season following Opening Day starter Chris Archer, but the order had not yet been determined. The decision was previously thought to be based on matchup, but since both options are right-handed, another factor may have came into play. A trendy sleeper in 2015 drafts, Odorizzi has allowed three earned runs on nine hits in 8.2 innings this spring.
