Updating a previous item, Skip Schumaker had the wind knocked out of him after crashing into the center field wall Friday. In other words, nothing serious. Schumaker made a leaping attempt on Alex Presley's fly ball and collided with the wall. Manager Mike Matheny made the decision to remove him from the game for precautionary reasons. This is good news for Schumaker, and he should be available for the rest of the series against the Pirates.
