Uggla is having a solid spring so far, hitting .292/.452/.500 with an impressive 6:3 BB:K ratio in 24 at-bats. The walks and strikeouts are a great sign that the vision issues that have plagued him the last couple of seasons are a thing of the past. Unless Yunel Escobar's oblique injury forces him to begin the season on the DL there likely won't be any room for Uggla on the Nationals' roster, but he may be playing well enough for another club to give him a chance.
