Tyler Skaggs yielded three runs on four hits over seven innings Monday in a no-decision against the Indians. The most encouraging aspect of this outing was that Skaggs issued just one free pass -- he struck out six -- after walking seven over his previous two starts. Outside of the recent wavering control, the 22-year-old has had an eye-opening start to the 2014 season. The Angels, who re-acquired Skaggs in the Mark Trumbo trade this winter, are 5-0 in his starts. Skaggs (2-0, 3.34 ERA) welcomes a challenge to Los Angeles this weekend when the Rangers come to town.
