Tyler Skaggs held the Blue Jays to three runs in 6 2/3 innings Tuesday in a loss. Skaggs gave up 11 hits, but only one was truly damaging -- Jose Reyes' two-run homer in the seventh inning with two outs, which ended his night. If he got the out, Los Angeles would have had three innings to overcome a 1-0 deficit. Instead, the game was over. Because of scheduling quirks and missing almost a month with a balky right hamstring, this was his first home start since May 20. The 22-year-old takes a 4-5 record and 4.15 ERA into a weekend date with the Rangers.
