Tyler Skaggs got the win with a quality effort in Tuesday's start against the Astros, allowing only one run on five hits over seven innings. The left-hander struck out six and walked one. It was good to see Skaggs bounce back after he served up five runs or more in two of his last three starts. The step forward improves the 22-year-old southpaw to 4-1 with a 4.14 ERA and 1.13 WHIP. Skaggs has a road date against Seattle on Monday.
