Tyler Skaggs allowed two runs while striking out six over 3 2/3 innings in Saturday's win over the Dodgers. Making his last start of the spring, Skaggs showed a glimpse of why the Angels parted with Mark Trumbo to acquire the left-hander this winter. Skaggs did need 97 pitches to get through his 3 2/3 innings -- the five hits and two walks allowed, along with his six K's, didn't help -- but in all it was a positive performance for the 22-year-old. Skaggs' first regular season start with his new club should come next week.
