St. Louis Cardinals rookie outfielder Tyler O'Neill was placed on the disabled list on Thursday due to a hamstring strain. O'Neill was up with the team while Dexter Fowler was on the paternity leave list, so he was likely going to be optioned back to Triple-A. Instead, he got hurt and will spend at least 10 days on the disabled list before being optioned then instead.
