The St. Louis Cardinals have activated outfielder Tyler O'Neill (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list. Fellow outfielder Lars Nootbaar was optioned to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. O'Neill missed nearly a month due to a left hamstring strain. Though he's had a disappointing season overall at the plate, he was heating up before the injury, slashing .354/.385/.521 in June.
