Twins released RHP Thomas Diamond. Diamond was inked to a minor league deal last month after being cut loose by the Cubs. He's posted an awful 8.52 ERA in Triple-A this season but has struck out over a batter per inning. The 28-year-old should be able to land somewhere as organizational depth.
