Twins recalled INF/OF Chris Parmelee from Triple-A Rochester. Parmelee opened the season as the Twins starter in right field, but was a tremendous disappointment hitting .223/.303/.372 with eight homers and 20 RBI in 83 games. His .231/.318/.370 slash at Triple-A certainly doesn't inspire any confidence either. He can safely be avoided in AL-only leagues.
