Twins prospect right-hander Kyle Gibson was placed on the disabled list with Triple-A Rochester due to a sore right forearm. The Twins were previously convinced that Gibson would only have to miss one start, so hopefully this is just a precautionary move. The 23-year-old right-hander was a candidate to make his major league debut this season, but had a 5.17 ERA in June and allowed 13 runs over two starts in July.
