Twins placed RHP Scott Baker on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 5, with a a mild flexor muscle strain in his right elbow. Baker hasn't pitched since July 5 after leaving that start with a mild flexor muscle strain in his pitching elbow. Baker is eligible to return in a couple days, so the hope is that he'll miss just one more start. He was cleared for Monday's start after a successful bullpen session Friday, but something must have happened between now and then. Baker boasts a 3.01 ERA in 17 starts this season.
