Twins placed RHP Matt Capps on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder injury. Capps has been battling shoulder discomfort for a couple of weeks and felt significant pain after making an appearance in Saturday's loss to the Reds. There is no timetable for his return. Glen Perkins and Jared Burton are likely to handle save opportunities in his absence.
