Twins optioned RHP Kyle Gibson to Triple-A Rochester. Gibson posted an ugly 9.00 ERA in eight Grapefruit League innings this spring, but he would have opened the season in the minors even if his numbers were really good. The 25-year-old right-hander should make his major league debut at some point during the first half of 2013.
