Twins optioned RHP Kyle Gibson to Triple-A Rochester. Gibson gets the boot after giving up four runs on 10 hits and two walks over just 3 2/3 innings Monday against the Mets. The rookie right-hander posted an ugly 6.53 ERA and 29/20 K/BB ratio in 51 innings across his first 10 starts in the majors. With his innings limit quickly approaching, the Twins might just shut him down and turn to the focus to 2014.
