Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said that Chris Parmelee (head) is available off the bench Friday night, but that he'll likely shy away from using him. Parmelee hasn't played since since being hit in the helmet by a Justin Thomas fastball during Wednesday's game against the Red Sox. He showed no signs of a concussion and his headaches are already gone, so it shouldn't be much longer before he's ready to return.
