Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said on his radio show Sunday that Brian Dozier will be his starting shortstop going forward. We knew Dozier was getting called up, but evidently he'll be a regular when he arrives. Gardy only offered that he will "move the others around," which likely means shifting Jamey Caroll over to share time with Alexi Casilla at second base. It's a move fantasy owners will welcome, as Dozier certainly offers more intrigue than Carroll. He's batting 276/.339/.371 with a homer and two steals at Triple-A Rochester this season after hitting .320/.399/.491 with nine homers and 24 steals between High- and Double-A last year. Dozier should be picked up in AL-only leagues right away and is worth monitoring in mixed formats.
