Twins general manager Terry Ryan said Kyle Gibson is not an option to replace Pedro Hernandez in the rotation. Gibson tossed a shutout Wednesday at Triple-A Rochester and now boasts a 3.32 ERA and 35/11 K/BB ratio over 40 2/3 innings. Even though it appears he won't be called up soon, the righty is a good bet to spend significant time with the big club this season.
