Twins general manager Bill Smith said Tuesday that the team is interested in bringing Joe Nathan back next season. The Twins may decide to decline his $12.5 million option for next season, but could still bring him back at a lesser annual salary. Nathan, 36, posted a 4.14 ERA, 14 saves and a 43/14 K/BB ratio 44 2/3 innings this season. The veteran right-hander has previously expressed interest in returning to Minnesota.
