Turner will start at first base and bat second Wednesday against the Giants, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports. Adrian Gonzalez will join fellow lefty bats Joc Pederson and Carl Crawford on the bench against Madison Bumgarner, opening the door for Turner to step in for his first start of the year at first base. Turner is 6-for-18 with two doubles and two home runs in his career against Bumgarner.
