With the departure of Juan Uribe, Turner's only competition for playing time is rookie slugger Alex Guererro, whom manager Don Mattingly seems averse to starting at third base. Turner could be a sneaky fantasy pickup, as his hot hitting and multi-position eligibility have made him into a legitimate asset.
