Turner has given up seven runs in 11 innings of relief since his last start May 17.
EDGE Analysis
While the season ERA of 4.41 isn't opening any eyes, it's been about as good as the Nationals could have hoped for after his ERA was over six in each of the last two seasons. His fastball is up to a career high 95 MPH, but the velocity hasn't translated into strikeouts as he is only averaging 5.2 per nine innings. Despite making his big league debut in 2011, Turner is still only 26 years old, suggesting the former first-round pick still has a chance to turn his career around, but expecting a huge improvement sometime this season is probably a stretch.
