Trumbo went 1-for-5 and supplied a game-tying two-run homer in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Cardinals. After he and his mates were shut down by Carlos Martinez over the first seven innings, Trumbo broke through against lefty reliever Kevin Siegrist, sending a line drive over the fence for the Diamondbacks' only runs of the game. Trumbo has absolutely crushed southpaws this season, as he's now recorded 11 hits in 32 at-bats (.343 average), including a double, triple, four homers, and eight RBI.
