Trumbo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The heavy hitting outfielder took lefty Cole Hamels deep in the top of the fourth inning Thursday, marking his third long ball in four days. While the power has always been there with Trumbo, his penchant for striking out has been a constant issue. However, he has trimmed his K rate down from 24.2% in 2015 to 11.8% this season. It's still early to be sure, and that K rate will come up as the season wears on, but if he can stay disciplined at the plate Trumbo he should be able to settle into a groove in the heart of Baltimore's order.
