Trumbo is now slated to man first base in his Mariners debut with Logan Morrison scratched. Trumbo was expected to DH in his first game with Seattle, but Morrison's late scratch forced manager Lloyd McClendon to shuffle some things around. Nelson Cruz will now serve as the designated hitter with Seth Smith in right field and Dustin Ackley in left against right-hander Erasmo Ramirez.
