Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports that the Rockies "will make another aggressive run" at the Astros' Wandy Rodriguez over the offseason. It's not surprising, as the Rockies claimed Rodriguez on waivers in August but were unable to work out a deal for the left-hander. Renck says that the Rox were willing in August to take on the remainder of Wandy's contract (he'll make $36 million over the next three years if his 2014 option is picked up) but balked at the Astros' asking price of Drew Pomeranz and Wilin Rosario. Assuming Colorado is still willing to absorb the rest of Rodriguez's contract, the Astros seem likely to lower their demands over the winter.
