Trout went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in a 4-2 loss to the A's on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
The two-time American League MVP didn't disappoint in the season opener. Trout, in his seventh season in the big leagues, is primed to post big-time numbers yet again in 2017. He was likely the first overall pick in most fantasy drafts, and for good reason. Along with 29 home runs last year, Trout returned to the 30-steal mark for the first time since 2013. His fantasy owners are hoping he continues to run in 2017.
