Trout went 2-for-4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI in Tuesday's game against the Rockies. He also donned an elbow guard in his final three at-bats after getting hit on the left elbow in the top of the first. Trout said this was the third time in the last two weeks that he has been hit on the elbow as pitchers try to come inside on him. The guard may be a permanent fixture for Trout going forward, as he homered in his first at-bat after donning it.
