Trout was removed in the seventh inning of Saturday's game against the Mariners to rest up, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports. Trout was replaced by Shawn O'Malley. Trout didn't record a hit in three at-bats and he struck out once Saturday, but the move was simply a decision from manager Mike Scioscia.
