EDGE Analysis
So much for Trout's slow start. With this performance, Trout has his batting line up to .313/.396/.563, just shades off his 2015 marks (.299/.402/.590) and comparable to his 2014 numbers (.287/.377/.561). His .313 batting average is his best since he hit .323 in 2013. It will be tough for Trout to maintain such a mark with his 23.4 percent strikeout rate, but if anybody hits the ball hard enough to do so, it's Trout.
