Trout is aiming to cut down on strikeouts and increase stolen bases in 2015, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports. Trout cited "chasing the high pitch" as the main cause for his increase in strikeouts last season (from 136 in 2013 to 184 in 2014). His stolen bases also saw a sharp decline, mostly because he didn't make many steal attempts, attempting to steal just 18 times in 2014 versus 40 times in 2013. If he can increase his stolen base totals back to around the 30 mark this season, it would only further cement him as one of, if not the top fantasy option.
