Travis Snider went 2-for-5 with a two run double and a run scored in a 9-2 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday night. Snider is now hitting .324 (12-for-37) with four homers and 15 RBI this spring. Normally we'd say that would be enough to secure the starting left field job, but his main competition Eric Thames had two hits and two walks Tuesday and is hitting .323 (10-for-31) with one home run and six RBI during Grapefruit League play. With both players rising to the occasion, this will battle will likely go down to the final week.
