Travis Snider is currently shut down from throwing after injuring a finger on his left hand while cutting sweet potatoes. Really. It doesn't sound like a major concern at this time, but we have an early entrant in 2014's most comical injuries. On the bright side, Snider is now fully recovered from October surgery to remove bone spurs from his left foot.
