Travis Snider (finger) took batting practice Wednesday. Snider cut a finger on his left hand with a kitchen knife a few days ago, but it wasn't a major concern. The 26-year-old batted just .215/.281/.333 with five homers in 285 plate appearances last season and projects to open 2014 as a backup outfielder.
