On Thursday, New York Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud (elbow) was diagnosed with a partially torn UCL. There had been some thought that d'Arnaud may opt for rehab instead of Tommy John surgery, but alas, that is not the case. d'Arnaud has elected to undergo the surgery, which will sideline him for the rest of the season.
