The Atlanta Braves activated catcher Travis d'Arnaud (thumb) from the 60-day injured list on Wednesday. Fellow catcher Kevan Smith was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. d'Arnaud has been out since May 1 due to a torn ligament in his thumb.
