Travis Blackley wasn't involved in the decision after limiting the Dodgers to one run and three hits in eight innings on Thursday. Blackley matched Clayton Kershaw pitch for pitch, and though it didn't get him a second straight win, he came up big as the A's completed an unexpected sweep of the Dodgers. He has a 3.15 ERA in five starts and two relief appearances since his callup, so it looks like he's going to hang around for a while.
