Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin (forearm) threw a two-inning simulated game on Monday. Gonsolin, who has been sidelined by a forearm strain since August 24, threw approximately 30 pitches in the outing. The veteran hurler's velocity reportedly "ticked up" in the session, according to manager Dave Roberts. Gonsolin could be activated off of the injured list before the end of the regular season but Roberts is unsure what exactly the right-hander's next step will be.
