Tomlin was tendered a contract by the Indians before the Tuesday night deadline. Tomlin posted a 4.76 ERA in 25 appearances (16 starts) for Cleveland last year and figures to enter spring training in a battle for the fifth starter spot with T.J. House and Zach McAllister.
