Tomlin (shoulder) has been throwing long toss at the Indians' spring training facility in Arizona, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. Tomlin opened the season on the DL after undergoing surgery on the AC joint of his throwing shoulder back on April 8. He appears to be progressing well from the procedure, and he'll be evaluated by team doctors later next week to determine if he's ready to begin throwing off a mound again. The right-hander is targeting a return from the disabled list at some point in the second half of the season.
