Tomlin's bid to lock down the fifth starter spot has gotten off to a rocky start so far but he still has to be considered the front runner at this point when you factor in his contract extension this offseason. He'll need to get things squared away soon before he opens the door too much with TJ House pitching well in his two appearances so far.
