Tomlin (13-9) won after allowing two runs on six hits and no walks with three strikeouts in 7.1 innings against the Royals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After struggling for much of the second half, Tomlin delivered one of his best starts of the year on the season's final day. His command was excellent, as he threw 64 of his 88 pitches for strikes and did not walk anybody, lowering his MLB-leading walk rate to 1.0 BB/9. He did allow a home run, however, his 36th of the season. Tomlin's 5.9 K/BB and 1.19 WHIP are very good, but unless he's able to keep the ball in the park he'll continue to be a middling fantasy option.
