Tomas (groin) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday.

After missing the past three games with what is being called right groin tendinitis, the Diamondbacks decided to move him to the DL to bolster the bench with healthy players. It's unclear if Tomas will be able to return after the minimum 10 days or not, but more information on that front should come forth in the coming week. Jeremy Hazelbaker was recalled from the minors to fill his roster spot.
