Tolleson was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Friday, TR Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Tolleson has had an awful month of July, allowing 12 earned runs over 8.2 innings (12.46 ERA) and as a result, will head to the Rangers Triple-A affiliate. The right-hander posted sub-three ERA's in 2014 and 2015 so there is optimism that the 28-year-old will return to his old form.
