Tolleson blew his second save of the season, allowing a game-tying homer with no outs in the ninth Tuesday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Tolleson was lucky he wasn't tagged with the loss after giving up the homer to start the innings. The right-hander continued the inning, allowing a double and walking two to load the bases. With two out, Jose Bautista stepped to the plate, but Tolleson was able to wiggle out of the jam by getting Bautista to fly out. Closers are never perfect and this one can be shrugged off as a routine part of the job. Tolleson has allowed a run in only three of his 13 appearances and is nine for 11 in save opportunities.
