Tim Stauffer will start on Friday versus the Cubs. He's filling in for the injured Robbie Erlin (elbow). Stauffer hasn't started a game in the majors since 2012, so he'll obviously be on a pitch count. It's possible he'll be given additional turns in the rotation if he pitches well.
